Program Overview:
Voices for Good Choices is an interactive, character education assembly that brings essential values like respect, kindness, teamwork, safety, and perseverance to life—starring the students themselves. During this high-energy program, professional presenters Mark Beckwith and Obediah Thomas guide over 20 student volunteers through improvisational scenes and role-plays that explore real-world choices and consequences in a safe, supportive, and entertaining environment.
The dynamic nature of the show means each performance is unique, driven by the spontaneity and creativity of the student participants. This makes Voices for Good Choices not only memorable but personally meaningful to everyone involved—on stage and off. The program reinforces school-wide behavioral expectations while promoting a culture of responsibility, cooperation, and empathy.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the assembly, students will be able to:
