School Assembly FAQs - Pricing, Scheduling & Programs
Find answers to common questions about our elementary school assemblies, including pricing, scheduling, setup, and program details. Shows That Teach provides engaging K–6 assemblies across Southern California for schools, districts, and public agencies.
Most of our school assemblies are designed for elementary students in Kindergarten through 6th grade (K–6). Some programs are tailored to specific grade ranges. For example, The Kids for Kindness program is best suited for grades TK–5, while Bye Bye Bully works well for grades K–8.
Most of our school assembly programs run approximately 40–45 minutes. We recommend allowing about 15 minutes between performances to allow one group of students to exit and the next group to enter smoothly.
Yes. Each of our performers carries liability insurance in the amount of $3,000,000 per occurrence and $5,000,000 aggregate through Specialty Insurance Agency and Lexington Insurance Company. If your district requires an additional insured certificate naming your school or district, we can provide one upon request.
We also carry Sexual Abuse and Molestation (SAM) coverage for added protection.
Typically an assembly is priced based on the number of performers and the amount of work that goes into the production and set up. Please be assured that our shows are worth every penny.
Pricing for our school assemblies varies based on location, program, and scheduling. You can view general pricing information here:

We perform live school assemblies throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles, Ventura County, Orange County, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego. Some of our programs are also available for travel to Central and Northern California.
Our school assembly pricing is structured to reflect the preparation, performance, travel, and setup involved in delivering high-quality programs. Schools already receive significantly reduced rates compared to larger venues.
In some cases, discounts may be available. If your school has flexibility with scheduling, or if you can coordinate with another nearby school to book the same program on the same day, we may be able to offer a reduced rate when a performer is already in your area.
The best way to check availability and request a booking is to provide your first, second, and third choice of dates, along with your school’s location, the program you’re interested in, and your preferred show times.
Because we typically schedule two schools per day, we recommend requesting either early morning or afternoon performance times.
Yes. Many of our environmental and water conservation school assemblies are sponsored by cities, counties, or water agencies as part of their community outreach and education programs.
Sponsored assemblies can be provided to schools at no cost within your service area, allowing your agency to reach large numbers of students with important messages about water conservation, recycling, and sustainability in an engaging and memorable way.
