A Live Musical Assembly Celebrating America’s Story — Perfect for Schools and Family Events in 2025–26.

As America prepares to celebrate its Semiquincentennial in 2026, our funny, live show 250 Years of American Music is the perfect way to engage students—and families—with the diverse musical history of the United States.

 

This fast-paced, funny, and educational assembly takes elementary school students (TK–6) on a musical journey across 250 years of American history. Performed live by the acclaimed Razzle Bam Boom duo, this interactive program brings to life the cultural roots of America’s most influential music genres, including:

  • Jazz, Blues, and Rock ‘n’ Roll
     

  • Folk, Country, and Bluegrass
     

  • Mexican-American and Hawaiian music
     

  • Zydeco, Western, and Patriotic classics
     

Through live music, audience participation, and plenty of laughs, students experience how music reflects America’s rich cultural diversity, regional identity, and historical milestones

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this lively assembly, students will be able to:

  • Identify key eras and styles in American music history

  • Recognize how music reflects cultural and historical events

  • Engage with U.S. history through music, movement, and participation

This Los Angeles based assembly program is available as an engaging ELOP grant program (Expanded Learning Opportunities Program). Many So. Cal. school districts have already booked our assemblies for ELOP.
