H2O, Where Did You Go?

Free Water Science Assembly in the Las Virgenes area

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is currently sponsoring fun complimentary assemblies on several NGSS curriculum topics for grades K-5. LVUSD elementary schools may qualify for a free performance of one of our engaging water science assemblies.

Description:

We offer two different assembly programs from which to choose. They each address many water science educational standards, such as the water cycle and the journey of water. Using humor, music, skits, and audience participation, this engaging elementary school assembly also covers the reasons for water conservation, and how students can be “water-smart”.

Topics Addressed:

  • The water cycle

  • The value of water

  • Where water travels

  • Evaporation

  • How students can conserve water

Testimonials:

Iris Van Dyke, 4th grade teacher
White Oak Elementary

WOW! That was the best assembly I have ever seen in my teaching career! The students were engaged the entire time. My students who are usually shy were eager to participate! They also internalized what they learned during the assembly. Obediah and Mark and were charasmatic, hilarious and knowledgable. They are geniuses for developing lyrics that both teach a skill and keep the audience entertained.

Gayle Spindler, 2nd grade teacher
Round Meadow Elementary

Excellent job engaging kids and giving them good information! Loved it! Love that the kids had opportunities to move and participate. Very entertaining and informative.
