Frequently Asked Questions (for school assemblies)

FAQ for non-school venues

For what school grades are your programs appropriate?

Most of our assemblies are ideal for grades K through 6. Some will work fine for K-8.

Do you have discounts available?

Our prices are set to be fair for the huge amount of work that goes into production preparation (not to mention the performance, travel and set up). Schools already pay about 60% of the normal prices that larger venues pay for practically the same show. However, for some programs if your school is willing to be very flexible on date and time of the performance, we may be able to arrange a booking date when the performer is already in the area. In that case you may be able to receive from $50-$100 discount depending on the program.

How long are the performances?

Each performance lasts approximately 40-45 min. Theater venue performances may be longer.

Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes.  In fact our performers each have their own liability insurance in the amounts of $3,000,000 each occurrence and $5,000,000 aggregate through Specialty Insurance Agency and Lexington Insurance Co.  Incidentally, these are very safe shows.  Insurance is just a precaution.

Do you have a political or religious connection or agenda?

No.  We just present the common sense facts.

Do you have any tips on making the best assembly experience for our students?

Yes.  Please click this PDF to get our suggestions for creating the best assembly experience.

Do you have study guides for teachers available?

Yes.  There is a link on each assembly program’s webpage on this site which will lead you to printable teaching materials for special for that program.

How do I find an open date to book a performance?

If your school or parent organization is planning to pay for a school assembly, you may request dates. The best way to request a date is to give us your first, second and third choice. Be sure to include your location and request show times.
